沼氣，是各種有機(jī)物質(zhì)，在隔絕空氣（還原條件），適宜的溫度、濕度下，經(jīng)過微生物的發(fā)酵作用產(chǎn)生的一種可燃燒氣體。

我國利用沼氣，特別是沼氣發(fā)電有十分重要的意義：
