TPE-熱塑性彈性體是一種具有橡膠的高彈性，高強(qiáng)度，高回彈性的新型材料。TPE材質(zhì)觸感柔軟，耐候性好，不含增塑劑，是一種環(huán)保無(wú)毒的材料，價(jià)格在2.5-5萬(wàn)/噸之間，廣泛使用在與人體接觸的日用品中。
PVC-聚氯乙烯，是一種有毒的含氯樹脂。加工時(shí)添加了增塑劑，增塑劑的含量越大，材料越柔軟，廣泛的用于建材，人造皮革中，價(jià)格在0.8-1.2萬(wàn)元/噸之間。聚氯乙烯塑料制品在較高溫度下，如50℃左右就會(huì)慢慢地分解出氯化氫氣體，這種氣體對(duì)人體有害。
TPE與PVC相比，更耐高溫和低溫、有更好的彈性，近年來環(huán)保呼聲越來越高，所以在很多領(lǐng)域節(jié)能環(huán)保的熱塑性彈性體TPE開始取代PVC。
Styrene type TPE styrene type TPE, also known as TPS, is a block copolymer of Butadiene or Isoprene and styrene, whose properties are most similar to those of SBR rubber. SBS is also widely used as impact resistance modifier of PS plastic, and is also an excellent modifier for abrasion resistance, crack resistance, soft resistance and skid resistance of asphalt pavement. PS modified by SBS can not only improve the impact resistance as much as rubber, but also the transparency is very good. Compared with SBR rubber and WRP rubber powder, SBS modified asphalt pavement is more soluble in asphalt. Therefore, although the price is more expensive, it is still widely used. Today, more to the waterproof roll to further promote the roof of buildings, subways, tunnels, trenches and other waterproof, moisture-proof above. The sponge made of SBS, S-SBR and NP rubber is richer in rubber touch than the original PVC and EVA plastic sponge, lighter than vulcanized rubber, bright in color and clear in pattern.
