發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)在工作過(guò)程中要吸進(jìn)大量的空氣，如果空氣不經(jīng)過(guò)濾清，空氣中懸浮的塵埃被吸入氣缸中，就會(huì)加速活塞組及氣缸的磨損。較大的顆粒進(jìn)入活塞與氣缸之間，會(huì)造成嚴(yán)重的“拉缸”現(xiàn)象，這在干燥多沙的工作環(huán)境中尤為嚴(yán)重。空氣濾清器裝在化油器或進(jìn)氣管的前方，起到濾除空氣中灰塵、砂粒的作用，保證氣缸中進(jìn)入足量、清潔的空氣。
