法國迪卡儂公司總部設在法國北部，公司于1976年由 Michel Leclercq先生（現任集團董事長）在法國設立，同時開了運動用品超市的新概念。 今天，迪卡儂集團既是運動用品的設計師和生產商，更是極具規模的全系列運動品連鎖商店。 集團在法國擁有最大的產品開發和設計中心，至今在全球共開設有331家大型運動品連鎖超市(截至2004年底)，同行業位居歐洲的首位和全球第二位。

迪卡儂公司擁有法國第二大的產品開發和設計中心（僅次于雷諾汽車）。中心的1500名專業技術人員每年推出 4000 款新產品，涵蓋63種運動項目。 不斷創新的技術與產品使運動者充分感受到運動的樂趣，舒適，安全和健康。
